The hip-hop collective's final performances will offer songs they've never played before, mixed with hits from the group's extensive song catalog. This is revealed by the group's front figure RZA in several posts on Instagram.
"The most important thing is to touch our fans and those who have supported us over the years. This is a special moment for me and all my Wu-brothers to travel around the world together one more time and spread Wu-swag, music, and culture," says RZA, implying that the tour may be extended beyond the US borders.
Wu-Tang Clan was formed in the Staten Island neighborhood of New York in 1992 and became one of the most influential acts in early hip-hop. All nine living members of the collective will participate in the final tour. Ol' Dirty Bastard, who passed away in 2004, is replaced by his son Young Dirty Bastard.
Prior to the tour, Wu-Tang Clan, together with Amazon Music, will release an exclusive live EP on vinyl in only 1,500 copies.
Wu-Tang Clan last performed in 2023 at Avicii Arena in Stockholm, then together with rapper Nas.
