The police were alerted shortly after 02:30, on Friday morning. There are suspicions that something may have been thrown into the store.

The police officers on site were met with quite a lot of shattered glass on the outside of the store, which suggests that an explosion may have occurred inside, says Thomas Paulsson.

In connection with the explosion, a smaller fire broke out, which is now extinguished. No personal injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.

Everything suggests that the store was empty.

It is unclear what caused the explosion. No one has been arrested at present.

It's not a major fire and there are no extensive damages, says Thomas Paulsson.

The area is now cordoned off pending a technical investigation.

We are also trying to find witnesses, but there are a limited number of people who are out and about at half past two in the morning. We need to get a better picture of what happened, says Thomas Paulsson.
