Appliance manufacturer Electrolux reports an operating profit of 419 million kronor for the second quarter of the year. During the corresponding quarter a year earlier, the company made a loss of 124 million kronor.
Net sales increased slightly to 33.8 billion, from 32.6 billion kronor.
"We continue to implement cost-saving activities that are expected to have a significant impact during the second half of the year," says CEO Jonas Samuelson in a comment in the report.
