"Not like us" has recently been at the center of a heated feud between the two rap artists Drake and Lamar, a disagreement that dates back to the beginning of the 2010s.
Drake, 38, is now accusing Universal of spreading a "false and harmful narrative" through Lamar's Grammy-nominated song, which accuses Drake and his entourage of being "criminal pedophiles that the public should be warned about".
By releasing and marketing "Not like us", the Canadian artist claims that the record label has chosen "greed and profit interests over their artists' safety and well-being".
Earlier on Wednesday, the news broke that Drake had withdrawn another legal complaint against Universal and Spotify, which concerned the companies allegedly using unfair methods to drive up the number of streams of Lamar's song.
