This week, the trial begins for aggravated child pornography offenses for the illegal photography at a school in Karlstad over an eight-year period. Over 160 girls are said to have been exposed.
The two accused men are being demanded to pay seven million kronor in damages for gross violation, reports Sveriges Radio Värmland. This amounts to between 25,000 and 75,000 kronor per girl.
"They have been extremely seriously violated" says lawyer Elisabeth Massi Fritz, who represents the girls, to the radio.
The two accused men are said to have used the material when they masturbated, according to the lawyer. The material is also said to have been spread further.
"There has been a spread, the children have been able to be identified by name, facial image, and age" says Massi Fritz.
Both men have agreed to pay damages according to the radio.
