A man over 65 years old has been found dead in a residence in Kungsbacka municipality south of Gothenburg. The police were alerted at 16.50 on Friday.
It's a relative who found this person, says the police's press spokesperson August Brandt.
The police have cordoned off the area pending a technical investigation and are working on, among other things, door-to-door inquiries in the area.
We have initiated a preliminary investigation into murder since we cannot rule out a crime at present, says Brandt.
The police have no suspect or detainee in the case.
