Coldplay has paid out a seven-figure pound amount to the band's former manager, according to NME.
Dave Holmes was Coldplay's manager for 22 years before he and the British band ended up in a dispute over a contract. Last autumn, Holmes sued the band for 136 million kronor – whereupon Coldplay counter-sued him for 187 million, among other things for excessive tour costs and for Holmes borrowing money without the band's permission.
Exactly how much money Holmes has now received from Coldplay is not known, but the settlement means that the case does not need to be taken to court.
