Already during the night towards Saturday, a rainstorm is moving in over large parts of Norrbotten and the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute has issued a yellow warning for sudden ice slicks.
Some miles northwest of Luleå and upwards, there is a risk of rain that can fall on cold road surfaces. Furthest north, it turns into snowfall, says Sverker Hellström.
For those who must venture out on the roads, it is essential to adjust their speed to the road conditions and be prepared for the weather to change suddenly.
It's a bit treacherous ice slick.
Towards Saturday evening, Norway is bringing a snowstorm to the western Härjedalsfjällen and southern Jämtlandsfjällen. The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute is warning of wind in combination with snowfall at temperatures between zero and five degrees. The warning applies until the night towards Sunday.
Even in the rest of the country, temperatures are dropping, and next week, minus degrees are expected at night in almost the entire country.
It's gradually getting colder now.
