Two other children, a sibling pair, and not a lifeguard discovered the boy in his tenth year who drowned in a pool at Skara Sommerland last summer.

This is shown by the amusement park's own investigation of the fatal accident, which has been sent to the Consumer Agency and which P4 Skaraborg has taken part of.

Three lifeguards were on duty at the pool area when the accident occurred on August 3, according to the radio channel. It is unclear why none of them discovered the boy before the children. Instead, it was a parent who dived down to the bottom and brought the boy to the surface, after the children had alerted.

The Consumer Agency's investigation into the incident is ongoing.
