The rapper's unexpected message came after he was forced to seek hospital care after a concert in New Orleans, writes the magazine Variety.
"After my show in New Orleans, I went to the hospital in Houston to check out a medical problem that had arisen. After being examined, it became clear that I couldn't perform that evening, and after several tests, it turned out that I couldn't complete the rest of the concerts in the USA as planned. I have an operation booked and need time to recover", writes Glover on X.
He also says that the performances in Europe are being cancelled. Sweden was not included in the tour plan, but Oslo and Copenhagen were.
The "New World" tour would have been the last under the artist name Childish Gambino.
