A child has been run over by a car and ended up under the vehicle on a parking lot in Hammarö outside Karlstad.
It's a child under five years old, says the police's press spokesperson Sophia Jiglind.
The child is conscious, but has been taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the injuries is unclear.
The police will investigate whether any crime caused the accident that occurred just before 7 pm on Thursday.
