Something has caused an explosion in a car in a residential area in Nynäshamn south of Stockholm, according to the police.
We have no damage to buildings and no one has been injured, says the police's press spokesperson Helena Boström Thomas.
The alarm about the bang on the centrally located island of Trehörningen came at 00.28 on Tuesday morning. The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into suspected general endangerment and will examine the car.
