Two people were seriously injured when two cars collided head-on on Sunday afternoon on E22 outside Lund. One of the cars had been driving in the wrong direction.
The man who was driving in the wrong direction was alone in the car. He was seriously injured, as was a 25-year-old woman who was traveling in the other car. A 20-year-old woman escaped with minor injuries. The condition of a child who was also traveling in the other car is unclear, reports Sydsvenskan.
The alarm about the accident came at 18:48 on Sunday. Police, rescue services, and an ambulance were called to the accident site.
The man who was driving in the wrong direction is suspected of drug-impaired driving, gross negligence in traffic, and causing bodily harm.
