Tareq Taylor, Maria Montazami, Christine Meltzer, Janne Schaffer, and Tomas Brolin have all checked in at Bäckaskog Castle for the nineteenth round of the SVT program "Stjärnorna på slottet".
The atmosphere has been good, thinks Tomas Brolin, who tells about meeting his great love and about his time in the football club Leeds. He reveals more details than before about the coach's adult bullying – including how the coach forbade Brolin to drink water during the match.
I've let out a few things about this, but now I let out a bit more. I haven't really let out everything, because someday I might write a book, when I get the time, says Brolin and calls the time "terrible".
I wasn't a newcomer, I had played in two World Championships and in Serie A for five years. There, they are really experienced in how to prepare for both training and matches. But that behavior didn't exist in England, so it was a new culture for me.
Lost Nephew
Maria Montazami thinks it was educational to listen to the others' stories.
Christine has had a real fairy-tale upbringing, the total opposite of mine. I thought "good grief, what a life". But then she told about her breast cancer. So everyone has had some little dip, it's what makes us stronger. I thought Tomas wouldn't shed a tear, but yes. So did Janne, and Tareq.
Especially tough for her was talking about her sister, whose son William passed away when she herself participated in "Hollywood Wives" in the USA. The death caused the sisters to drift apart for a while.
It was an incredible crash with everything. It was a tough, sad, and difficult period in all our lives, she says, but adds that she and her sister found each other again.
Near Tears
When she talks about her family, tears come easily for Maria Montazami. Creating a safe life for them has been her life's dream.
The last thing I wanted was for my children to have to experience fighting and screaming and being alone, because I've experienced it.
She sees herself as a strong mother, who has protected the children. They, for example, weren't allowed to sleep over at someone's place until they were 18 years old, due to her fear of potential sexual abuse.
Many parents say "let him sleep over" and then some disgusting cousin's friend comes along and then everything is ruined. That was important for us. If they want to eat ice cream and candy in large quantities, I don't care.
Maria Montazami is from Västerås but has lived in California for a long time. She made her TV debut in 2009 in "Swedish Hollywood Wives" and has since participated in, among other things, "Let's Dance" and "My Truth".
Tomas Brolin was born in Hudiksvall. He helped take Sweden to bronze in the 1994 World Championship, has won the Uefa Cup, and has been awarded the Guldbollen twice. After his football career, he has been a restaurateur and businessman.
Tareq Taylor is a TV chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author. He has participated in "Stjärnorna på slottet" as a chef and also in "Garden Times". During the fall, he revived the program "Here's Your Fridge" on Kanal 5 and Max.
Christine Meltzer is a comedian, program leader, and actress, and is behind the humor programs "Hey Baberiba" and "Friday All Week". She has, among other things, led the Melodifestivalen.
Janne Schaffer from Stockholm is a composer and electric guitarist. He has had a solo career and worked with Abba, Toto, Bob Marley, Ted Gärdestad, and with Lasse Åberg and Klasse Möllberg in Electric Banana Band.
Chef Frida Ronge serves the stars dishes inspired by their lives.
