It is in an interview with The Gleaner that Bolt's lawyer speaks out about the fraud case that the former sprint king has ended up in.

Last year, Bolt was cheated out of 130 million kronor that he had with the Jamaican investment company Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL).

He is very frustrated and disappointed. He is simply shocked and upset that the country he has put on the map, and that he placed his money with an institution there, now has lost it or cannot get it back, says Gordon.

Bolt is frustrated that he has not received any updates on the investigation that was launched afterwards. It is linked to, among other things, the American FBI.

We have not received the slightest information about the result of the investigation. So we do not know who took the money, or who we should turn to, as everything is classified, says the lawyer.

The frauds at the company were revealed in January 2023, where more than 200 accounts have lost over 300 million kronor. Bolt has previously stated that the money he had with SSL was supposed to secure his pension.
