A man has been found dead in a search operation, after a boat was found empty off Vinön in Hjälmaren.
The boat was found with the engine running. During the afternoon, the man was found dead, says police spokesperson Mats Öhman to TT.
The alarm about the accident came on Wednesday morning and a large operation was launched. During the afternoon, the man was found in the water with the help of the rescue service's equipment.
The police suspect no crime behind the accident.
Relatives have been informed.
