The popular children's TV series "Bluey" is to become a feature film, announces Walt Disney Co and BBC Studios.
The Australian animated series has made a huge success worldwide since its launch in 2018 and is this year the most watched series globally on Disney+.
The film version, which will have its cinema premiere in 2027, will be written and directed by series creator Joe Brumm, and the voices will be done, just like in the series, by among others Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack.
"I have always thought that Bluey deserves a cinema film and I want it to be an experience for the whole family to enjoy together", says Brumm in a statement.
