A man in his 20s is suspected of aggravated assault.
After questioning, the prosecutor has decided to detain him, says police spokesperson Christian Brattgård.
The man is reasonably suspected, which is the lower degree of suspicion.
The police received an alarm shortly after 3 am on Sunday morning about 40-50 people fighting with weapons outside some kind of party venue. Some kind of group is said to have arrived in several vehicles, according to the duty officer during the night to TT.
The individuals have come together and brought weapons in the form of baseball bats, and hammers are said to have been used. Some are also said to have been masked. It suggests that they did something together, says Brattgård.
In total, five people have been taken to hospital, three of whom by ambulance. The injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening, but it is unclear if this applies to all of them.
What kind of group it is and why the brawl started will be revealed by the investigation, according to Brattgård.
We will be hearing from people who were on the scene and the one who is detained, to get a clearer picture of what happened, says Brattgård.
