Toronto Raptors' former player Jontay Porter was banned for life from the NBA last spring. Now he is to be prosecuted for his role in a gaming scandal where his own performances on the court were the subject of betting.
This emerges from documents submitted to a court in New York by federal prosecutors. Four others have already been prosecuted in the case.
The four are accused of, in collaboration with Porter, having cheated a gaming company out of over one million dollars.
