The two music festivals Tons of Rock in Oslo and By the Pond in Sandefjord have been evacuated due to bad weather with heavy rain and thunder, writes NRK.
Just before 23 on Thursday, visitors to Tons of Rock were urged to leave the festival area. Heavy rain and thunder are expected in the Oslo area during the night towards Friday.
"Due to incoming weather, we unfortunately have to close the festival. Please go calmly towards the exit and leave the area", writes the organizer of Tons of Rock on Facebook.
In southern Norway, the bad weather arrived at 22. In Sandefjord, the By the Pond festival was stopped while Bryan Adams was on stage.
At 22.30, a person came on stage and said that the audience had to evacuate. Bryan Adams didn't believe it and wanted to continue. But the message was repeated, and people started leaving before the rain started pouring down, says NRK's journalist who was at the festival.
An orange warning has been issued for heavy rain in parts of eastern Norway.
