The Swedish Judo Association does not rule out disciplinary actions against OS bronze medalist – Tara Babulfath.

It remains to be seen. We will have a conversation and discuss the coming days since the decision was made recently, says Kristiina Pekkola, chairperson of the Swedish Judo Association to SVT Sport.

Babulfath took OS bronze in Paris, but protested against the referee in the semifinal, something she was suspended for three months for – a decision that was made known yesterday.

To SVT, Pekkola says she is "relieved" that the penalty was only three months and not six. The suspension will not be appealed.

Pekkola tells SVT that the association board and disciplinary committee are having a dialogue with Babulfath's parents.

We have had discussions and had close contact with the parents, already down in Paris and during these weeks.
