At least 55 people have been killed in a landslide in a remote part of southern Ethiopia, according to local authorities.
The landslide occurred after heavy rainfall in the mountainous region.
Images on Facebook show people using their bare hands to dig through the earth masses to search for survivors.
Southern Ethiopia has been hit by flooding after a heavy seasonal rain during the spring. Thousands of residents have been forced to move and the rainfall has caused significant damage to infrastructure and crops.
