Pharmaceutical giant Astra Zeneca is pausing its plans to expand its research facility in Cambridge, England. The investment would cost around 200 million pounds, equivalent to around 2.5 billion kronor, and in the long run create an additional 1000 jobs in the United Kingdom.
The message comes just days after the American sector colleague Merck announced that they will not proceed with their plans to build a research center in the United Kingdom.
