The artist and composer Amanda Bergman is one of six artists who receive the Arts Grants Committee's ten-year artist scholarship. The scholarship currently amounts to 171,900 kronor per year and corresponds to three so-called price base amounts annually.
It is awarded to artists whose work has maintained high quality over a long period, and the recipients are also expected to be active during the ten scholarship years.
The other scholarship recipients are the musician and composer Hans Appelqvist, the film director Mika Gustafson, the theatre director Freja Hallberg, the choreographer and dancer Lisa Janbell, and the composer and musician Lisa Streich.
