The Governor of Kronoberg, Maria Arnholm, is paying back 82,000 kronor for private taxi journeys that she had the county administrative board pay for. She writes to P4 Kronoberg.

Arnholm has, according to her employment contract, the right to compensation for bus or train journeys between her home and workplace. Taxi fares are not included. Despite this, she has since 2020 taken taxis for 82,000 kronor between her home in Stockholm and the central station at the county administrative board's expense.

Arnholm was previously party secretary for The Liberals and Minister for Gender Equality in the Reinfeldt government.
