Another wolf attack has occurred in Östergötland, reports Norrköpings Tidningar.
It was during Friday night last week that several ewes and lambs were attacked on a farm outside Söderköping. The animals were injured so severely that they had to be put down.
Until the attack, the farm had 22 ewes and 25 lambs, says Marie Sjöberg, who owns the farm, to the newspaper.
I got extremely sad, it was extremely tough. It's many years of breeding work, and the wolf just goes in and strikes, she says.
In June, protective hunting of wolves was initiated in the county after three wolf attacks in a short time.
