Edvin Anger has his absolute strongest asset in sprint. Something he also showed on Friday, when he took home the sprint competition in Bruksvallarna.
But on Saturday, the 22-year-old showed that he has more strings to his bow.
In the 10 km classical, he was best from start to finish, and won his second competition during the Swedish premiere in Bruksvallarna.
I'm pleased with my performance. I had as "game plan" to continue skiing fast on the second lap, and I think I managed that. So it's a nice feeling, he says to SVT.
The victory was a form indication ahead of the upcoming World Championship premiere next weekend. And after the last few days, the 22-year-old looks bright on the season to come.
This is not the main distance, but still I'm performing well. If my body responds like this in these conditions in the World Championship, I'll be doing well.
Second place went to Truls Gisselman, 3.3 seconds slower than Anger. Third place went to Jens Burman.
