AI was used to Swedishize the pronunciation in the Danish actor Jesper Christensen's lines in SVT's "Trolösa" according to Kulturnytt in Sveriges Radio.

We have re-synced his lines and also used an AI model to help the Swedish melody, so to speak, says Christian Rank, CEO of the Swedish department at production company Miso Film to Kulturnytt.

The filmmakers behind the Oscar-nominated film "Brutalisten" are being criticized for using AI to improve the Hungarian pronunciation of the actors. Editor Dávid Jancsó's revelation in an interview led to demands on social media that the film's Oscar nomination should be withdrawn. However, the film's director Brady Corbet has defended the use of AI in Variety, saying it was only done to make the film's dialogue feel more authentic.

But how good does it get? What humans create becomes better and more authentic, according to Christian Rank at Miso Film. However, AI technology is a way to make less costly improvements, he emphasizes. He also states that the reactions from the Swedish audience have been positive.

The reaction we've gotten from people who aren't aware of the process is that it sounds natural, he says.

Jesper Christensen had himself approved that his lines were processed after filming.
