Richard Glantz, press spokesperson for the police in northwestern Skåne, tells TT that the dives are part of the investigation into the murder in Landskrona.
We are not giving any further comments, he says.
According to TT's photographer on site, the operation was completed around 2 pm. This is the second time dives are being conducted after the murder of a 14-year-old girl. Last week, several divers searched for something in the water using a metal detector.
Whether anything was found during the dives and, if so, what, neither the prosecutor nor the police have wanted to comment on.
About a week ago, a girl under 15 years old was found lifeless during a routine patrol in an industrial area in central Landskrona. She later died.
A 15-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Another girl in high school age is suspected of involvement in the murder – she is under 15 years old and has been handed over to social authorities.
