Economic uncertainty following the EU election and particularly in France is causing the Italian sports brand Golden Goose to abandon its planned flotation on the Milan stock exchange. Golden Goose, with shoes that have a price tag of several thousand kronor and which are worn by, among others, Taylor Swift, had planned to float on Friday.
"The current environment is not right for taking the company to the stock exchange," the company writes.
Particularly the Paris stock exchange has fallen sharply recently after France's President Emmanuel Macron called new parliamentary elections following the success of the far-right party National Rally (RN) in the EU election.
