Over 45,000 people have been killed and more than twice as many have been injured in Gaza since the war between Israel and Hamas broke out last year, according to the Hamas-controlled health authority.
The figures do not distinguish between civilian and combatant fatalities.
At least 45,028 people have been killed, including 52 in the last 24 hours, according to the authority. 106,962 people are reported injured during the war that began with terrorist-stamped Hamas attacks on Israel in October last year.
