20 men were shot dead and another seven were injured in southwestern Pakistan late on Thursday evening, according to Hamayun Khan Nasir, police spokesperson.
According to the police, armed men stormed premises belonging to a coal mine, lined up the men and opened fire. No one has yet taken responsibility for the attack.
The incident follows a series of bloody attacks in Balochistan where separatists are demanding self-rule and occurs just days before a planned security conference in the capital Islamabad.
