The amount of urine and feces made it difficult to breathe. Cages with dogs were stacked on top of each other. Some dogs were completely apathetic, others so stressed that they bit and hung in the cage bars. Now, the County Administrative Board in Östergötland has decided to immediately take into custody the kennel's 123 dogs, writes Corren.
The dogs were found at two separate addresses belonging to a couple who run a kennel business. At one address, there were 108 dogs, and at the other, an additional 15. In the residence where the 108 dogs were kept, according to the County Administrative Board, there was "misery" and, for animal protection reasons, it was necessary to take immediate action.
