A bomb from the First World War has been safely removed from a construction site near the Serbian parliament in Belgrade on Sunday.
The bomb weighed nearly 300 kilograms and was found on Wednesday.
It was used by the Austro-Hungarian army when it occupied the capital during the First World War, according to Interior Minister Ivica Dacić.
Prior to the relocation, the police urged residents in the area to exercise caution, to move their vehicles and, if possible, temporarily leave their homes.
The bomb was taken to a sandy terrain about six miles from Belgrade where it was destroyed.
