Ten years' imprisonment for attempted murder – now a man who ran over a police officer at a traffic control in Halmstad earlier this year is sentenced, writes Hallandsposten.

The incident occurred in mid-April, when the police officer was run over by the man, who was traveling on a motorcycle, in connection with a traffic control. The motorcycle rider, who is in his 40s, was arrested on the spot. Halmstad District Court sentences him in addition to the attempted murder also for gross drunk driving, gross unauthorized driving, unauthorized use, and gross bodily harm.
