Jansson: "I regret what I did"
Last summer, Pontus Jansson got rid of the captain's armband after being involved in a chat with violent Malmö FF supporters. Now he got to celebrate his second consecutive national championship gold.

After 26 goalless matches, Taha Ali stepped forward. He equalized to 1–1 and then played forward to Malmö FF's championship gold goal at home against IFK Göteborg.

Malmö won with crushing numbers against Halmstad in the restart after the summer break. 5–1 was the final result at Eleda Stadium, two of the goals were scored by 20-year-old Hugo Bolin.
