When Malmö FF had the chance to secure the club's 24th Swedish Championship title for the second time this autumn, the Scanians initially looked set to blow it again.
Arch-rivals IFK Göteborg led 1-0 at halftime at the stadium in Malmö after a shock goal signed by Lars Skjellerup.
Then, two substitutes stepped forward. Taha Ali scored the 1-1 goal in the 59th minute, and in the 78th minute, Hugo Bolin scored the goal that secured the 2024 Swedish Championship title for the reigning champions.
It feels completely crazy, says Bolin to Max after the winning goal.
Haaland in the stands
Manchester City's superstar Erling Braut Haaland chose to skip the Ballon d'Or gala in Paris, where the world's best football players are awarded. Instead, the Norwegian was present at the stadium in Malmö to watch his good friend and countryman Erik Botheim try to win a Swedish Championship title with MFF.
He got to see a Malmö that totally dominated the first half - in terms of ball possession. Despite the advantage, Malmö failed to break through a strong IFK Göteborg defense in the center of the field.
In the 25th minute, the cold shower came when Lars Skjellerup scored 1-0 from distance after Sergio Peña slipped and lost the ball.
When the second half began, Taha Ali was substituted in for Oliver Berg. Dribbler Ali had a brilliant debut season in the MFF jersey last year, scoring six goals and making seven assists in the top division.
This year, the 26-year-old has not scored a single goal in the league in 26 appearances - in the 28th round, he broke the duck.
With just over half an hour left to play, Ali advanced into the box with the ball from the left flank and nicely curled in the 1-1 goal near the far post.
Ali the playmaker
In the 78th minute, the turnaround was complete. When Malmö sold top scorer Sebastian Nanasi to Strasbourg last summer, it turned out that the heir was already in the club in the form of Hugo Bolin.
The 21-year-old winger has blossomed this autumn, and with just over a quarter of an hour left to play, substitute Bolin scored the golden goal at the stadium in Malmö when he scored the 2-1 goal - nicely set up by Ali. Bolin's ninth goal of the season, but most importantly a goal that secured the Swedish Championship title with two rounds left to play.
It's gone bloody fast and a lot has happened, says Bolin, who was also selected for the Swedish national team earlier this autumn.
Delighted MFF fans stormed the pitch after securing the title. In the midst of the chaos, golden hero Bolin tried to summarize the season.
We've been good throughout the whole season. We've rolled over the top teams, especially when they've been here, and we've shown that we're the best in Sweden, he says to Max.
"Blåvitt" is still stuck in the relegation battle. The team has three points down to Värnamo on the qualifying spot and four to Kalmar on the relegation spot.
