Malmö FF drew again away against AIK (0–0), but remains unbeaten in the football Allsvenskan after starting the season with three premiere points away against Djurgården and a win at home against Elfsborg.
We've had some tough matches, but at home against all teams in Allsvenskan it should be three points, says Norwegian Lasse Berg Johnsen to Max.
Tightened up in the corner
With half an hour left and 0–1 down at home against Sirius, MFF coach Henrik Rydström brought in a quartet of substitutes.
In came Anders Christiansen, Taha Ali, Hugo Bolin and Otto Rosengren. It at least initially brought a tempo increase.
The home team was not satisfied with the pace of play in the first half, where Sirius' Saba Mamatsashvili curled in a right corner directly into the goal already in the tenth minute.
The substitutes' injection was, however, not long-lasting – MFF failed to create many hot chances. In the end, a equalizer fell anyway.
With just over five minutes left to play, Sirius substitute Bogdan Milovanov got a shot from Rosengren on his hand in the penalty area and from eleven meters, Norwegian Lasse Berg Johnsen could score 1–1 behind former MFF goalkeeper Ismael Diawara.
"Too bad"
It became the match's final goal.
It's an all too bad match. The supporters deserve better, we want to dominate and score many goals. It feels like the relationships aren't quite right. We have to work on that. For 1–1 at home against Sirius is all too bad, says Lasse Berg Johnsen.
For Sirius – which has four points – it was a much-needed draw after two straight losses against Brommapojkarna (0–3) and Djurgården (0–1).
