Kerstin Ekman
Ekselius receives scholarship from Kerstin Ekman
Kerstin Ekman is awarding 100,000 kronor each from her and her husband Börje Frelin's scholarship fund to five recipients. Authors Eva Ekselius, Jannette Hentati, and Henrik Williams are receiving the money, as well as the music theatre group Yria and the El Sistema foundation in Sweden.

From Astrid Lindgren's classics to contemporary authors such as Nora Khalil and Ann-Helén Laestadius. Now, the National Agency for Education and the Arts Council are presenting the reading lists with 250 works of fiction that have been developed to support teachers.
The Aniara Prize goes to Mikael Niemi
Mikael Niemi receives the Aniarapris, which is awarded by the Swedish Library Association. The author is rewarded for his novel "Sten i siden", which deals with how conflict in Tornedalen sets friends and family members against each other.
