Kerstin Ekman is awarding 100,000 kronor each from her and her husband Börje Frelin's scholarship fund to five recipients.
Authors Eva Ekselius, Jannette Hentati, and Henrik Williams are receiving the money, as well as the music theatre group Yria and the El Sistema foundation in Sweden.
Kerstin Ekman and Börje Frelin founded the Klockrosen foundation in 2020 with the purpose of providing financial support to musicians and authors whose literary works require research or travel.
The scholarship was awarded for the first time last year.
