SportsPeter Gerhardsson makes several changes in the Swedish starting eleven for this evening's group final against Germany. Among other things, he throws in both Magdalena Eriksson and Fridolina Rolfö from the start for the first time in this year's European Championship.
SportsThe quarterfinal is already secured. Now it's about winning the group. On Saturday evening, Sweden will face its toughest opponent so far in the European Championship: the world third Germany.
SportsTo fulfill one's European Championship dream is granted to few. Think then to be able to do it with one's very best friends beside you. It's hard to put into words, says Julia Zigiotti Olme.
SportsSweden is clear for the quarterfinals in the European Championship. The 3–0 win against Poland also means that a draw against Germany on Saturday will be enough to take home the group win. We went in with a great determination and aggressiveness. It felt like an eventful match. Fun with goals too, says Kosovare Asllani to Viaplay.
SportsFridolina Rolfö will also start this evening's European Championship match against Poland on the bench. But Sweden makes two changes compared to the premiere win against Denmark.
SportsSweden used to struggle in championship premieres. Then Peter Gerhardsson took over. It promises well ahead of Friday's European Championship premiere against Denmark. The recipe is Peter, it seems, says team captain Kosovare Asllani.
SportsSweden does not belong to the biggest favorites before the European Championship in football. The blue and yellow players do not care about that. I think everyone in Sweden hopes for a European Championship gold. And of course we believe in ourselves, says midfielder Filippa Angeldahl.
SportsHanna Bennison, 22, is clear for play in Real Madrid, confirms the club on its website. Very fun. I feel tagged and look very much forward to getting there, she says.

The Arsenal star – who has been tipped by teammates to become the top scorer in the European Championship – scored the first goal when Sweden beat Norway 2–0 in the dress rehearsal.
