The letter in which Skatteverket tells you your final tax for the previous year, after it has processed your tax return. It compares the tax you have paid with what you should pay and shows whether you get a refund or must pay residual tax, and by which date.

It arrives in rounds: in April for many who filed early online without changes, then in June, August and December for others. It comes to your digital mailbox if you have one, otherwise by post, and is also on My Pages.

Read it carefully. If something is wrong, you can ask Skatteverket to review the decision.
