A-skatt

Tax on income from employment that your employer deducts from your salary every month and pays to Skatteverket on your behalf. It is a preliminary tax: the final tax is settled the following year when your tax return has been processed.

The employer works out the amount from a tax table that matches the tax rate where you are registered, so make sure you are registered and that your employer has your correct tax details.

If you also run a business, you can have both A-tax and F-tax, which is called FA-tax.
