A procedure where someone who says you owe them money asks Kronofogden to order you to pay. Kronofogden sends you the claim and gives you a deadline to respond; it does not first check whether the claim is correct.

If the claim is right, pay it or contact the creditor to agree on a plan. If it is wrong, object in writing by the deadline, on My Pages or by the other ways listed in the letter, and explain why. The case can then go to court if the creditor wants to continue.

If you do nothing, Kronofogden can issue a decision that you must pay, which can be enforced and lead to a record of non-payment.
