How to reach it: most applications are made online, and you follow your case on My Page once you have applied. You can call or email, and visits need a booked appointment.

Where people get stuck: many rules changed during 2026, among them new work permit rules from 1 June, stricter citizenship rules from 6 June and changes from 12 July. Read the page for your own permit type rather than older advice, and remember that a change of employer or job can affect a work permit.
