Permission from Migrationsverket for a person from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland to work in Sweden. The employer usually starts the application with an offer of employment, and the terms must meet the conditions Migrationsverket sets for pay, insurance and other terms.

A first work permit is normally tied to the employer and the occupation you applied for. If you change employer or job, or stop working, you may need a new permit, and both you and the employer have things to report.
