Glasgow will host the World Championship in obstacle course racing, 12-15 September 2025.

The organiser expects around 5,000 participants.

"We believe that a World Championship can really contribute to the development of the sport nationally and internationally and see that it is perfectly timed in relation to our event strategy and experience from the effects of other international events," says the event manager for Swedish athletics, Magnus Malmsborg, in a press release.

The competitions will take place at Slottsskogsvallen and in Slottsskogen. The three distances in obstacle course racing are 100-metre sprint and three and twelve kilometres.
