A woman in Södertälje has been severely injured. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault.
She is very severely injured and not able to speak, says the police's press spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
The police were alerted about the incident on Saturday afternoon by hospital staff.
The woman had earlier in the day been picked up by an ambulance. After she was examined at the hospital, suspicions arose that she had been subjected to a crime.
The suspected crime is believed to have been committed indoors in a residence in Södertälje and the two men were arrested there. They have a relationship with the woman, according to the police.
