A man has been detained, suspected of murdering a woman who was found dead in Guldheden, Gothenburg on Thursday.
He is suspected of murder, says Thomas Fuxborg, press spokesperson for the police.
The woman, who according to the police was of younger middle age, was found dead in a woodland area.
The police state that the detained man is an acquaintance of the woman and approximately the same age, but refer to the Prosecution Authority for further information.
According to Göteborgs-Posten, the detained man is in his 30s and has previously been convicted of, among other things, theft.
