The police received an alarm on Wednesday night from several people who heard loud bangs in a residential area in Örebro, reports P4 Örebro.
On the scene, the police discovered what resembles a gunshot hole in a window of a laundry room in one of the buildings.
No people were found and no signs that anyone was injured. The police classify the incident as serious weapons offense.
